But then there is the possibility that my PS2 may not even support reading external storage on a USB drive. (Which hopefully I could just burn it onto a disc). So far, it seems like I may need an additional software to even think about copying save files to and from a storage device. I would think it would be possible to transfer saves with this stuff, but the research I've done is a bit conflicting. I have a PS2 Slim 70012, a package of writable DVD-R discs, a regular store bought flashdrive. Maybe, keep original PS2 cards for games you want to save data the most, or games that seems to be more fiddly with non-original memory cards.My PS2 is already showing it's age from misuse as a child, so I would like to back up my saves to my computer.
